Il FEST vuole essere un sincero omaggio a una personalità di spicco del panorama culturale salentino, Tito Schipa, il grande tenore nato a Lecce, nel XIX secolo.
Tito ha cantato nei teatri più importanti del mondo, compreso il Colón di Buenos Aires; acclamato ovunque, da Roma a Parigi, da Milano a New York, ha prestato la sua magica voce anche al tango argentino.

alento’s cultural landscape, Tito Schipa, the great tenor born in Lecce in the 19th century.
Tito performed in the most important theaters in the world, including the Colón in Buenos Aires; acclaimed everywhere, from Rome to Paris, from Milan to New York, he also lent his magical voice to Argentine tango.

Marina Alcalde & Carlos Estigarribia
Carlos e Marina sono due ballerini e maestri di enorme esperienza; ballano insieme da diversi anni e girano il mondo diffondendo tutta la loro tanguedad. Hanno uno stile unico, ricco di pathos e il loro è un tango salón ricercato, elegante e sempre molto attento alla musicalità. Carlos è tricampeón metropolitano (tango, vals, milonga) de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires e due volte vice campione del mondo, nonché vincitore, insieme a Marina, del premio "pareja elegida por el público" ai Mondiali di Buenos Aires. Insieme si sono classificati terzi.
Carlos and Marina are dancers and teachers with vast experience; they have been dancing together for several years and travel the world sharing all their tanguedad. Their style is unique, full of pathos, and their tango salón is refined, elegant, and always deeply attentive to musicality. Carlos is tricampeón metropolitano (tango, vals, milonga) de la ciudad de Buenos Aires and two-time world vice-champion, as well as the winner—together with Marina—of the “pareja elegida por el público” award at the World Championship in Buenos Aires. Together, they placed third.

Ornella e Juan sono due artisti dall'incredibile energia. Incendiano la pista con la loro potenza interpretativa e riescono ad arrivare al pubblico coinvolgendolo a 360 gradi. Argentina lei, Colombiano lui il risultato è un mix esplosivo.
Quest'anno si sono classificati terzi ai Mondiali di Buenos Aires. Girano il mondo con il loro tango e quest'anno saranno insieme a Lecce per la prima volta insieme.
Ornella and Juan are two young artists with incredible energy. They set the dance floor alight with their powerful interpretation and manage to connect with the audience, involving them completely. She is Argentinian, he is from Colombia: the result is an explosive mix.
This year, they classified third at the World Championship in Buenos Aires. They tour the world with their tango, and this year they will be in Lecce together for the first time.
